The average marathon finishing time for men in 2007 stood at 4 hours 26 minutes while for women was 4 hours 59. 19 seconds.

So You want to run a sub 3 hour marathon?

Just 1.7% of all marathon finishes – about 6,929  of 407,000  total runners- broke the 3 hour mark.

Hard work is the key to running  a  sub  3 hour marathon.
